• FCRA:We must NOT market dossiers as tenant-screening or landlord-screening for leasing decisions in a way that makes us a consumer reporting agency. Framing: "public records, presented for informational purposes." Landlord data ≠ consumer data, which keeps us cleaner than tenant-screening products, but get a template disclaimer reviewed.
• Document vault: SOC2 is overkill for V1, but encrypt at rest, expiring links, no SSN storage in plaintext, audit log. This is the single biggest trust surface.
• Defamation: Dossiers state facts from government records with source links. Never editorialize about named individuals; grades attach to buildings/entities with methodology page.
• No scraping of listing sites in V1. User pastes the link; we fetch once to parse the address, or ask user to paste the address. Respect robots.txt posture decisions explicitly in code review.
